ORANGE CITY FOOD PANTRY

The Orange City Food Pantry is hosted by American Reformed Church and supported by 17 partner churches, as well as numerous individuals and community businesses and organizations. Beginning January 2024, the Pantry will be open the 4th Saturday of each month from 9AM-12PM (noon).

To Receive Groceries

The purpose of the Food Pantry is to assist people living in the Sioux County communities of Alton, Granville, Hospers, Maurice, and Orange City as an emergency food source. The Pantry should not be considered as a weekly or monthly grocery store.

Beginning January 2024, the Pantry will be open for walk ins the 4th Saturday of each month from 9AM—12PM (noon).

If you are in a crisis situation and need immediate help, you must have a referral from a social or government agency, pastor, priest, or other church leader. Those making a referral should call the American Reformed Church office (712-737-4430) to provide contact and referral information. Arrangements will then be made to pick up items. If you do not have a referral, you will be asked to come back to the next monthly distribution on the 4th Saturday,.

Please Note: If you need additional assistance, please go to the Department of Human Services office at 215 Central Ave. SE Orange City (712-737-2943), the Mid-Sioux Opportunity office 618 14th St. SE Sioux Center (712-722-3611), Zestos 1008 3rd Ave. Alton (712-756-4456), or Hope Food Pantry 1913 S Main Ave, Sioux Center (712-722-3937).
